Principal

Hello,

My name is Christine Christiansen, I’m so excited to return to the elementary level as your new principal! My heart has always been in working with young learners and supporting the foundational skills that are built in our K-3 classrooms. I have a deep love and passion for literacy, which has guided much of my career. I’ve had the privilege of serving as an assistant principal at Bemidji High School, and before that, I was a kindergarten teacher, reading interventionist, literacy coach, and MTSS specialist. While I’ve enjoyed each of these roles, nothing brings me more joy than being part of an elementary school community—working alongside dedicated teachers and helping students grow during these important early years. I’m truly honored to be here and can’t wait for the year ahead!
