This November, Minnesota voters will consider a constitutional amendment to modernize distributions from the Permanent School Fund. The proposal would increase funding for public schools, including an estimated $127,000 annually for Bemidji Area Schools, without raising income or property taxes. Horace May families donated 465 boxes of cereal for the Bemidji Area Food Shelf and People's Church. Cereal boxes were lined up down the hallway for a giant domino train to celebrate the generous donations.
